In this installment we meet Rhage, the Beast, and Mary. I was a little conflicted with my feelings towards this couple. They had some seriously sweet moments which had my heart melting, and then their was all the negativity. At times it was a little too much for my inner romantic. I mean, in one scene, you'll know which I'm talking about when you read it, I cringed and actually wanted to hate on a hero for the first time ever. It wasn't cool what happened, and not something I could forgive as a reader, or write about as an author.

There were also a lot of heartache throughout this story. I felt bad for Rhage and the baggage he has carried most his life. And don't even get me started on Mary. Let's just say I was teared up often.
