Rune & Josie
I love the fact that sixteen books into this series, Kresley still manages to ensnare me. Her storylines continue to be just as good, if not better than, the last. I have to admit though, I was a little surprised when I learned who this book was about. Two new characters we had never heard of before – I was expecting Munro to be honest. But I enjoyed it regardless.
Turns out that our heroine, Josie, is the sister of Thad – so we get to learn a whole lot more about their mysterious species. And as with all Kresley’s females, Jo is a badass. Which I enjoy.
Rune, on the other hand I was unsure of. He was one of those characters you love to hate. As far as my hero complex goes I’m afraid he didn’t exactly fit into my box of hotties due to his 'sex as a tool' obsession, but I still found myself taking a liking to him.
Their story was action packed, sexy, and everything I've come to love about this series. I’m curious to learn more about these two and see where their alliances lay when it comes to the Accession.
