The Chosen: A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood - J.R. Ward

I was really looking forward to the release of this book. I have always had a soft spot for Xcor. And ever since he first refused Layla's vein under their tree, my love for the male has only bloomed. I wanted a HEA for both Xcor and Layla.

However, I have nothing positive to say about this book. As a huge BDB fan, I am greatly disappointed. I want to rant, but I'll refrain. I'll let you read for yourselves and determine if you like it or not.

I'll edit this later, when the risk of spoilers has past...
