Peyton & Novo - Saxton & Ruhn

Blood Fury - J.R. Ward

Compared to past releases from Ward, I actually really enjoyed this book. In fact, I find that I like the Legacy books more than the BDB series, which has become very erratic, in my opinion. These books focus more on the romance, and despite the lack of Lesser activity, we still get enough action and suspense to keep us glued to the pages. Of course there's also the new characters who have given the series some new life. I have yet to find myself skimming over pages to get back to the interesting stuff here, the storyline is constant and keeps me hooked.

In this instalment, we get to see two love stories develop between Peyton & Novo, and Saxton & Ruhn. Their relationships have been building since book one, and in this book they finally come together. And there is no messing around either. It's hard and fast, and will leave you smiling. But be warned, there will be some tears. . .

I felt so bad for Novo and Ruhn, their pasts were horrible, and they had some big obstacles thrown their way when they finally found their happiness. So it was great watching them grow and finally face their insecurities in order to be with the people they love. The same goes for Peyton and Sax. It was great finally seeing these males leave their baggage behind in order to start anew with their mates. Especially Saxton, I have been waiting for his HEA since the moment he gracefully bowed out and let Blaylock go to Qhuinn. He's a gentlemale and deserves to have Ruhn in his life.
